About

Jennifer Cadie doesn’t hold any fancy degrees and isn’t someone who knew from birth that she wanted to be a writer. That idea hadn’t entered her mind until her late teens. Rather than figuring out how to become a writer, she told herself being a novelist was an impractical career and instead went on to pursue a wide array of odd jobs ranging from department manager at a big box store, travel agent, hotel and airline reservationist, a brief stint at the local phone company, office worker, and finally landing in healthcare as a medical transcriptionist.

Fortunately, the writing bug took hold once again and for the past decade Jennifer has been practicing her craft, which has resulted in a few completed short stories and a boatload of unfinished first drafts. She lives in the South where she is currently working on completing her first psychological suspense novel.
