Howdy!
Many years ago, I started A Creative Yarn as a knitting blog, but then life got complicated (as life often does) and I ended up abandoning the site altogether. Lately, however, I’ve been feeling nostalgic for old school blogging, a time when life on the internet was quieter and social media hadn’t yet evolved into the cesspool that it is today. Life was much simpler back then, wasn’t it?
Anyhoo, I’m raising this site from the dead and breathing new life into this old blog that I’ve missed over the years. And I hope you come along for the ride.
Merriam-Webster’s dictionary defines the word yarn as an entertaining narrative of adventures. That’s my goal for A Creative Yarn – writing entertaining posts about knitting, fiction writing, books I’m reading, and the occasional rant about midlife.
